Clemson ENGAGE is a student lead service organization that works to improve living conditions in Soufrière, Dominica. As a Water and Sanitation project group member, duties include:- researching solutions for grey water contamination in the local community- analyzing pH levels and source of acidity in Soufrière waterways- educating locals and implementing grey water system solutions in their community

Collected and tested water samples in the field; Conducted and logged water quality assessments including pH, alkalinity, DO, Nitrate, Chlorine, Ammonia, and Coliform Bacteria; Conducted and logged Total and Volatile Suspended Solids analysis in the lab.

Learned about and promoted biology and conservation; Interpreted exhibits for guests; Led educational hands-on activities; Handled reptiles to introduce to guests.
