As the CEO of Hiven Energy, a Fortum-owned venture, I lead a team of smart energy experts who deliver innovative services such as smart charging and smart heating & cooling. Our mission is to empower consumers and make appliances smarter, while supporting the transition to a low-carbon energy system.With a master's degree in political science and government from the University of Helsinki, I have a strong background in European and international energy policy and regulation. I have contributed to the development of retail market design and demand response access in various countries and expert groups, including Eurelectric. I have also co-founded and chaired KARAAT Jewelry, a sustainable and ethical jewelry brand, and won multiple awards and recognitions for my entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial ventures.
