I have more than 15 years of senior leadership and executive experience in the government sector, having managed a diverse portfolio from sport and recreation to planning and local government, parks and environment, economic development and regulation. Through my roles, I have successfully led the establishment of a new, integrated regional service delivery group, and several department mergers. I have also nurtured and developed leadership talent and built positive and inclusive workplace cultures with respectful internal and external stakeholder relationships that are focused on collaboration and integrated service delivery.I am proud to lead with a humanistic-encouraging approach and believe in the importance of building genuine and purposeful connections. My strengths lie in the management of change, strategy, customer relationships, and improvement of business processes. The Gladstone Region has been my home for 14 years and has been a wonderful place to raise and see my family grow. I am proud to lead our Council and see our organisation delivering on its commitments to our communities. It’s the little things we do that make a big difference for the communities in which we operate.
