Prior to that, I worked at EY for 35 years, most recently pioneering EY’s Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) / Environmental Social Governance (ESG) role for the Americas practice (30 countries, over 75,000 employees in 180 offices and $17B revenue). Engaging with multiple stakeholders, I set the course for EY’s ESG journey. Capitalizing on emergent opportunities in the dynamic ESG arena, I drove the green building, renewable energy and supply chain strategies, climate risk planning and sustainability reporting.Previously, as the CEO of EY’s Global Services Center in India, I transformed the firm’s service delivery model and scaled its offshore workforce, elevating thousands of Indians into the middle class. The Center laid the foundation for EY’s backbone of global capabilities which remains the catalyst for billions of dollars of continued growth today.
