About Andrew Leitch

I’m an Experience Director, with a focus on spatial computing and immersive experiences (VR/AR/XR/Spatial Audio)I’m currently consulting with Ghostwheel on their industry-leading Previs Pro storyboarding app (as used by HBO Max, BBC, NBC, Starz and more) and in particular, helping to bring the Previs Pro experience into Apple’s new Vision Pro glasses.I’m also working with generative AI (RunwayML) to ideate and explore new ways to develop video content using text and visual prompts. Prior to my work with Ghostwheel, I was a Director of Automotive Experience Design at SiriusXM, leading the UI design team for all of SiriusXM’s in-vehicle programs, including Ford, GM, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota and Honda. While at SiriusXM I also explored the future-state technologies coming to the automotive space, including augmented reality (heads-up displays), spatial audio, autonomous vehicles and Apple’s CarPlay and Android’s Automotive Operating System.I have a strong background in new immersive technologies (Virtual Reality, Spatial Computing). I was a lab fellow at a VR Lab run out of NYU’s Media and Games Network (MAGNET) and taught a series of master classes at the New York Film Academy within their Narrative Virtual Reality program. In the past, I’ve held Creative/UX leadership roles at digital agencies such as Razorfish, GREY/G2 and Agency.com, launching foundational experiences for blue-chip brands including Nike, Pfizer and Ford.I’ve been actively involved in New York's VR and multi-platform storytelling communities, participating in StoryCode’s first Story Hackathon, and presenting at the XD Immersive 2018 conference on the emerging language of Cinematic VR.My web series, Elevator Moods, was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival, a finalist at SxSW Interactive, a Webby winner (Best Broadband Site) and was ultimately acquired by A&E TV.
