Experienced IT professional, graduated in Information Systems from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, with extensive experience in software development and a proven track record of success in various projects.My career began in 2012 as an intern at Orange, where I worked on queries and reports using BI tools. The following semester, I was invited by a university professor to join a research project at Petrobras' Research Center (CENPES), focused on data modeling and queries. However, I quickly transitioned into a developer role after discovering my passion for coding while contributing this skill to various tasks in the research labs.During my undergraduate studies in 2014, I received a scholarship from the Brazilian government's Science Without Borders program to study Computer Science at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. There, in addition to improving my development and language skills, I was able to explore new areas of knowledge. During the summer break, I developed a project at the Open Lab, integrating augmented reality and IoT with non-digital physical objects, which was a significant challenge and an opportunity to apply my development knowledge to a real-world problem.Returning to Brazil in 2015 to complete my degree, I simultaneously joined the Software Integrated Solutions team at Schlumberger, where I played a role in developing software solutions for internal use. Later, based on a recommendation from a former colleague, I was invited to join PwC as a developer, with the mission of helping to create a new practice within the consultancy, focused on the insurance market.During this same period, I completed my degree and was accepted into the master's program in Informatics at Unirio in 2016. However, as I realized that the master's program was deepening the same knowledge I had acquired during my undergraduate studies, but with a research focus, I began to question whether an academic career was truly what I wanted. Understanding that I could continue studying these subjects independently while applying them to complex real-world problems, I decided to pause my master's studies.Meanwhile, I have been with PwC since 2015, driven by a passion for continuous learning that consulting demands, where each project presents different challenges and unique opportunities for growth and innovation. I would say that this is precisely why I found my place in consultancy work.
