Although currently working in Texas, my home and most of my work experiance has been in Alaska. This includes working on offshore oil and gas production platforms, onshore oil and gas facilities, refineries, and arctic experiance one the north slope of Alaska. I have also worked in a few western states in refineries and even in mines in Utah! I generally get contracted out to major oil companies as a consultant to oversee construction projects or to help put projects together from a constructability point of view. I have a strong background in mechanical construction and maintenance with pipe / structural welding, steel fabrication, and welding inspection being my strong suit. My time spent working on drilling rigs and production facilities has allowed me to gain a strong knowlege of the processes involved in producing oil and gas and the equipment involved. This includes equipment from the well bores to the pipelines and process facilities back to the sales lines. I also have strong computer skills that help me in my daily activities. I am generally an easy going type person able to get along with most. I look at myself more as a mentor trying to teach anyone that wants to learn any of my skills and expertise. I do this while teaching them how ot do things safe so that they come home to their families the same way they left only maybe with a few more skills.
