Working with the software and electronic engineers to deliver more value

I put my facilitation and agile scrum skills to work to help people and teams reach their goals. I make it easier and more fun to learn and make great decisions together. I coordinate and coach the change management and agile communities at PNCC. I'm a bit of an agile, scrum, and change management geek, but always in the service of helping the people around me to own the outcomes and enjoy work more.

I facilitated the development of a digital transformation roadmap for PNCC and ran successful hackathons to solve problems that matter to PNCC and the community we serve.

Leading the change to digital tools and ways of working, I facilitated the development of the Manawatū Heritage platform. On the Management Team of the Library and Community Services, I managed a team responsible for systems, Web and online presence, digital content, digital literacy and IT Support. We initiated Free Internet and Wi-Fi for users and free eBook downloading. I project managed the implementation of large system changes. Member of the Kōtui Advisory Group, the Computers in Homes Steering Group and PNCC Information Management Steering Group.

I managed Advisory and IT Librarians in the delivery of customer services and management of systems.

I managed teams working on culture and heritage digital projects in Wales. Projects included Gathering the Jewels, Their Past Your Future (Wales), Books from the Past, Community Archives Wales and Glaniad. Projects were funded by bids to funding bodies such as HLF and Communities First and the Welsh Assembly Government.

I was responsible for all aspects of digitisation and metadata for this all-Wales digitisation start-up. It now has 130 partners including most libraries, archives and museums in Wales.

I developed the first digitisation strategy for the National Library in 2000. I set up the digitisation studio and developed standards and processes for digitisation of heritage objects. I managed a team responsible for preservation microfilm, digitisation and photography

I managed the scientific and social photography unit for the university. I set up the digital studio in 1996. I lectured on photography in the Fine Arts and Communications departments.
