Hi, I'm Leith! I'm Protostar Games lead 3d artist, with over 6 years of mobile industry experience as well as two times AGDA (Australian Game Develop's Award) nominee ('It's Literally Just Mowing' and 'Dream Hopper'). I specialize in creating vibrant scenes and adorable characters with a focus on hand-painted textures. As lead artist on 'Just Mowing,' I was responsible for all style direction, concepting, modeling, texturing, rigging and animation of hundreds of different assets - environment (countless!), character (endless costume choices!) vehicle (over 250 different swappable vehicle part models), creature (100 different critters, from rare butterflies to Shetland horses), prop, I did them all! ➼ As an experienced Unity developer, I took my skills and assets to the next level, implementing and designing dynamic and vibrant level designs, particle effects, and visual wizardry to turn 'It's Literally Just Mowing' from a simple game about, well, literally just mowing, to a beloved meditative staple in people's lives.➼ And then I did it all again in Mowing Mazes, taking my environment assets and style and incorporating it into a new genre, which includes a whole new wealth of diverse character customization!I've been playing and making games since I could figure out how to hold a pencil and press buttons, and they've defined my life ever since I firmly decided I would become a game developer at 10 years old. I'm an intensely passionate and joyful developer, who takes pride in the worlds I help create both on screen and in the real meat world! I consider interpersonal skills as fundamentally important as artistic and technical, and I love creating lasting positive spaces around me with fellow visionaries.
