I am currently an Engineering graduate with Republic Polytechnic. Currently, I am pursuing my specialization track in Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and working towards a diploma through the polytechnic pathway. My first contact with Robotics is during my primary school, when I attend to a Robotic Club, which limited only for Primary 5 and 6. The club provided the Lego Mindstorms for the members to build up and program our robots. And in that period of time, I learnt how to do the basic programming through computer to its Control Centre as a programmer. I gained some interests about Mechatronics/Robots and I am determined to study its relevant courses, which happened to be where I am and where I go in the future - to study about Mechatronics-related field and contribute toward society with my knowledge and skills. I had studied about Digital Electronics, Electronic Design and Development and C++ programming language for gaining the foundation of prototyping my own robotic products in future projects and better insights regarding the Engineering Field I am focusing on.To widen my horizons about our modern society, I attended several volunteering events in Year 2019, my first year in Republic Polytechnic. The most memorable event is that, my member and I happened to be in charge of a golf game station in a food donation event. We met a grandfather and his grandson who is curious of our station. At that point, I was teaching the young boy how to hit the golf ball into the pre-set hole. At first, he attempt and he failed. Then, I encourage him and tell him not to give up, with the best I could to support him. After many attempts, he managed to get a good hit. After that, my member and I decided to reward his perseverance by giving him extra snacks, as an encouragement. When they leave the game station, the grandfather and grandson are seem joyful and have lots of fun. I was gained something and know what I want - to contribute my technology and technical skills to the people and the society. To improve the people's lives and enable them to have a more enjoyable life by all I have in my entire life, just like the grandfather and grandson.
