Make A Difference (MAD) is a non-profit organisation that operates across the country, with the vision of empowering children through education. As a volunteer of the Education support program in the Trivandrum chapter of MAD, my primary responsibility was to teach English to the children in the shelter homes, to keep track of their progress, and to impart quality education to them. Have also had the chance to take responsibility of managing the fellow volunteers at the centre, as a mentor. As every other volunteer of the organisation, I have also had the privilege to raise funds for ensuring proper functioning of the projects in the city.
