Noteworthy Accomplishments: - Validated and assisted in planning all CALFEXs and LFXs in support of Saber Guardian 17. Saber Guardian the USAREUR capstone exercise of 2017, incorporating 4th ID TAC, 3rd Armor Brigade 4th ID, 2nd Calvary Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, 1st CAV DIV Arty, 10th AAMDC and various units from across the USANG. In addition to the US forces, 5 five Partner Nations participated in the exercise that spanned five countries, which began in Germany crossing the Black Sea and ending in the Georgia.- Lead the execution and LFX management of Getica Saber 17, an exercise that combined a FSCX and brigade CALFEX that was nationally acclaimed as the largest Live Fire Exercise to take place on Romanian soil with its US Partners. - Represented the Army Range Safety program during the HQDA directed risk assessment of Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine. Provided SME assessments and advisement to the Army Safety and Combat Readiness Center Commanding General. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:- Serve as the Commanding General’s subject matter expert on all range safety matters. Provide the command group and subordinate directors detailed guidance and courses of action that support the command’s objectives. - Build and develop interoperability by integrating and educating US and multinational partners of differences in management, administration and methodologies of Range Safety. To include the annual representation of USAREUR at the NATO and International Range Safety Working Group. -
Range Safety SpecialistUs Army Civilian Corps Installation Management Career Program (Cp-29) Jun 2015 - Jun 2016Sierra Vista ArizonaNoteworthy Accomplishments: - Established the location for an aerial laser range to support the 2-13th Aviation Regiment. Successfully staffed the initiative through collaboration with the environmental office and secured the funding to pay for a Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) and Programmatic Biological Assessment (PBA). This resulted in the 2-13th’s ability to triple their student throughput for Gray Eagle Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) training. - Developed and promoted FH’s Access to Training Lands Policy. This allowed FH to have an advanced ability to track personnel and guests within the training lands. The policy has enhanced emergency responders’ ability to mitigate risks to human life and improved physical security.- Developed and planned for the budgeting, environmental compliance, and Surface Danger Zone (SDZ) impacts of a joint law enforcement training facility. This resulted in successfully building a range for the Sierra Vista Police Department, Military Police, Special Reaction Teams, Customs and Border Patrol, and Close Quarter Marksmanship (CQM) training events. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: - Serves as the subject matter expert on range safety for FH. - Prepares range deviations and Deviation Risk Acceptance Decisions (DRAD) for the installation. Submits DRADs through the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security (DPTMS) to be reviewed by the Senior Commander. -Establishes, disseminates, maintains and enforces the FH Range Safety Program. Develops, monitors, and instructs the Range Safety Certification Program in compliance with established regulations and policies. - Staffs range planning and development, Range Control Master Plan (RCMP), and justification for unfunded requests (UFR) for range operations. - Evaluates, approves, modifies and/or rejects all standard and non-standard training requests. Assist units in developing training scenarios, verifies coordination, and approves training requests. -
Senior Range Specialist - Range Safety TechnicianUs Army Pacific Jul 2010 - May 2015Pohakuloa Training Area HawaiiNoteworthy Accomplishments:-Established and oversaw the execution of PTA’s portion of the 2014 Rim of the Pacific Exercise, the world’s largest international maritime warfare training event. This exercise successfully integrated the United States Marine Corps, Navy, Army and 7 foreign military services which conducted joint air and ground live fire training.- Played a major role in the revision of the PTA Range Regulation. The major revision consisted of a comprehensive review and rewrite of the regulation. This revision integrated new facilities, updated compliance data, and procedural guidance. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversaw range operations and supervised range technicians during assigned shift. Acted as the Range Operations Officer during his absence.- Managed restricted airspace, aircraft flight patterns, and flight times that were critical to flight safety. Coordinated and oversaw flight schedules, HLZs, and DZs. Managed vertical hazards and provided control and advisories to aircraft within the restricted airspace. Prepared and submitted Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) to support training requirements.- Verified that the Officers in Charge (OIC) recovered all pyrotechnics, ammunition residue, and concertina wire. Ensured occupied areas were returned to original state before any units were cleared and relieved of responsibility.- Investigated and recorded incidents including circumstances, extent of injuries, and statements from witnesses. Summarized investigation and noted recommendations to correct circumstances that caused injury or property damage. Wrote and submitted initial Serious Incident Report (SIR).

Active Duty Military ServiceUs Army Sep 2001 - Jun 2009Hawaiian IslandsServed as an Infantryman in 2nd Brigade 25th ID deploying to Kirkuk Iraq in 2004 and Bagdad in late 2007 through spring of 2009. During my service I spent 2 years in a light infantry line company before becoming an advance rifle marksmanship instructor for the re-fielding of M14 rifles, and finished my service as a Brigade Sniper Section Leader during my last deployment, finishing my second enlistment as a Staff Sergeant.
