Trader Joe’s gives me the opportunity to fine tune my customer service skills on a daily basis. I have been running the frozen section for over three years now, which includes daily ordering, merchandising, and coaching crew members how to work the section. I also am a trainer for the store’s new hires.

I was hired to open up the first brick and mortar location. I worked in the kitchen, soon after becoming the kitchen manager, and at the time I left I was the restaurant manager. My duties included hiring and training staff, scheduling, ordering, ensuring high standards of food production in the kitchen, as well as an exceptional guest experience.

My fiancée and I started, and run every aspect of this company, from creating flavors, website design, social media, inventory/purchasing, account management, sales, and promotions.

I oversee back of house operations at a busy Italian restaurant. My duties include ordering inventory, and ensuring standards of excellence are upheld in every aspect of the kitchen. This ranges from training new employees correct procedures, creating new dishes, cutting costs by finding more effective ways to execute tasks, and correcting employees when they are not performing to our standards.

I began working at a local pizza shop as a delivery driver to support myself through college. Upon graduating, I took a managerial position, which included duties such as hiring/training new employees, scheduling, dealing with a variety customer service issues, and closing the shop/accounting for the money at the end of every night. I was able to perfect the ability to think, work, and direct others under extreme stress.

I served as a Machine Gunner in an infantry reserve unit while I attended college. I attribute my leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong 'team-player' mentality to the training I've received.

I applied my experience of hard work that I learned from working on a farm to my high school job of working for a steel fabrication company. I worked long hours at this very physically demanding job, and learned how take direction from project managers, as well as respond to unique situations by thinking quickly.

I began working on a neighbor's farm when I was 9 years old. I quickly learned about hard work, and how to manage having a job and attending school simultaneously. I developed a strong work ethic while being employed on this dairy farm.
