I work in the Tailings, Crushed Leach, and Water Department at the corporate headquarters of Freeport-McMoRan. Geospatial data and remote sensing is my specialty within the group. As a trained ecophysiologist and geographer, I use multidisciplinary techniques to solve problems company wide and provide geospatial solutions to colleagues across many specialties within the mining sector.

-Built stations for installation containing data loggers, CO2, oxygen, and soil moisture/temperature sensors for Critical Zone Observatory (CZO) research group- Gather field data using various instruments, including LICOR photosynthesis (LI-6400) and CO2 machines (LI-8100)- Process data using MATLAB, HOBOWARE, and LICOR programs- Training using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to take field measurements- Continued monitoring and presentation of field data from CZO project- Taught Manzo Elementary students various topics in ecology using the school's gardening program
