I am a registered nurse with 14 years of ICU experience, specializing in cardiovascular and open heart surgery patients. Healthcare informatics has always been interesting to me and with the current changes in healthcare I feel now is an opportune time to make the transition. I think that my knowledge of the the hospital and various medical workflows will be of great use to me in the field. I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Nursing emphasizing Healthcare Informatics and look forward to contributing to the rapidly changing landscape of healthcare informatics.
