Under the direction of the Global Trade Compliance Director in the Supply Chain Group, the Trade Compliance Optimization & Origin Specialist will be responsible for developing maintaining origin determination and trade optimization programs globally. This will serve as the Ingevity expert and provide management of all trade optimization programs including drawback, free trade agreements, and all other applicable trade optimization programs through origin determination, qualification, and execution. - Act as the Global Process Owner (GPO) for all trade optimization programs by developing, documenting, maintaining, and ensuring execution of procedures related to compliance areas of scope. - Create reports and assist in drafting compliance processes and related work instructions - Manage drawback provider relationships by providing required data timely, developing and monitoring KPI's, tracking payments/invoicing, and leading post filing activities- Complete FTA eligibility determination and reviews- Identify solicitation and classification workload needed for qualification- Assistance on Trade Program projects, audits, and verification programs- Develop and maintain documentation integrity - Participate in meetings and work together as a team to complete projects, as assigned- Liaison with significant business partners on Customs trade compliance issues - Support Supply Chain Trade Compliance Program activities in an environment of ongoing business transformations, including advice on development of controls for new scenarios and process in an aggressive business growth strategy
