Based in Rio I looked after the pre-salt exploration activities in our blocks BMS-9, 10 and 11. I also generated a Prospect inventory of all pre-salt leads and prospects, evaluating volumes and risks, for the company to be ready for future Santos pre-salt bidding rounds.

Tunis, Tunisia

The position involved the planning and supervision of geophysical acquisition and processing, interpretation, prospect generation and evaluation for exploration. Well planning and post drilling follow-up of Miskar field development wells (phase IV and V) and exploration wells.I particularily enjoyed Geophysical reservoir characterisation and the development of new workflows in 3D seismic interpretation for large 3D volumes.

I worked within Repsol in 1/ the UK on development and exploration (1999 - 2000)2/ Spain, working on Libyan new ventures and supporting the asset (2000 - 2003) mostly on QI work.3/ Libya, working mostly in exploration as operator, on block NC200 in the Murzuq Basin. The work comprised the whole geophysical chain, acquisition processing, interpretation, prospect generation and evaluation and drilling.

I worked in planning and processing all kind of borehole seismic operations. The experience gave me an excellent knowledge of what added value borehole seismic can give and how best to utilise it. It also gave me a better understanding of service companies ways of working.

Paris Area, France

In charge of various engineering projects ranging from Coal Bed Methane production, conversion of a depleted oil field into an underground gas storage and technical evaluation of field re-development.

North Sea

I worked on North Sea rigs, giving me a broad knowledge of drilling and geological operations. I then moved back to study and specialise in oil exploration.
