Dr. Lemâne Delva brings more than ten years of experience leading agricultural research focused on rural development and agronomy innovations in Haiti. As former Director of Research for the USAID funded Agriculture Research and Development (AREA) Project, Dr. Delva worked closely with the private sector to develop innovative agricultural systems that led to improved production technologies and increased farmer resilience. Using a results-oriented and approach, Dr. Delva emphasizes implementation approached focused on community collaboration, capacity building, and continuous, data-informed learning. He is also a skilled relationship builder – as the technical advisor for Haiti’s Ministry of Agriculture Knowledge and Technical Competencies (KONEKTE) program, Dr. Delva established the Division of Innovation and created a partnership agreement between the division and the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute. Mr. Delva is fluent in English, Creole, and French.
