As a result of market conditions, the decision was made to remain private and self-fund rapid growth (more than doubled adjusted EBITDA from 2020-2022). After receiving an unsolicited bid, Certarus was successfully sold to Superior Plus (TSX: SPB) for $1.05 billion Canadian. My career encompasses 25 years of progressive engineering and leadership roles with Shell plc and Goldman Sachs. Experience spanning oil & gas upstream, downstream, and midstream, LNG, power, trading, green energy, and finance provides me with strong and versatile areas of expertise that I currently deploy as a strategy consultant for national and multinational businesses.
