Europython 2021 ChairEuropython Oct 2020 - Oct 2021Prague, CzJust like EuroPython 2020, EuroPython 2021 was also held online in July 2021. With almost 2200 registered tickets, this was one of the most successful editions ever. We ran the online event with the same format as the in-person events we normally run, with a full week of Python content, 2 days of workshops/training, 3 days of conference talks and 2 days of sprints - presented by 120+ speakers. This was only possible thanks to our 38 people team of volunteers and more than 4 months of hard work. For 2022, the plan is to (finally) have the conference in Dublin, Ireland. -
Europython 2020 ChairEuropython Sep 2019 - Sep 2020Prague, CzEuroPython 2020 was held online, from July 23-26. Preparations started in Sept 2019 with much the same process as for EuroPython 2019. In March 2020, we found that we had to switch online, developed a successful concept for this and a 20+ people team in the following 4 months. With over 1000+ registrations and 130+ sessions on Python and its use in IT, web, data science, finance and many other industries, the online conference was just as successful as our in-person events.
