Professionally my work is to make my clients lives better; to help them realize the dreams they have for themselves and their families. One of the unexpected results of my cancer and resulting amputation (December 2012)is a much better understanding of the fragility of life and the importance of living a life of service to others- in the end what we do for others is far more important than any records or achievements we may attain.In May of 2021 I released a memoir: Life > Limb. After college and graduate school I spent nine years as a college basketball coach- at Indiana University ( W-volunteer assistant), Kent State University (W), The University of Pittsburgh (W), Keene State College (Women's Head Coach), Colby Sawyer College (Men's Head Coach) and the University of Southern Maine. I left coaching in 1993 and went to work in the financial services field. I left Merrill Lynch in 2009 to found my own independent firm, Anton LeMieux Financial Group (with my partner Eric Anton). We work with families, businesses and non-profits.
