As the co-Ambassador of Women in Immersive Technologies in Iceland I organise events with talks, demos and networking to promote women in the field of Immersive Technologies (AR/VR/XR). Women who make immersive tech, work with with immersive tech or teach with it or make art with it are all part of our community. As an interaction designer at Gagarin I create narrative spaces for interactive exhibitions. I work on developing high end concepts for museums and exhibitions striving to seduce the audience to explore new perspectives and unknown grounds.At Gagarin we believe in the power of interactive storytelling to inspire audiences when learning and playing. Lemke is responsible for all product creation: from concept and content perspective, researching with the target group, scientist collaboration and visualization of the concepts.

Working on freelance assignments was mostly an excuse to work on my many interests in life. Today that mainly consists of painting at my own pleasure! My last big project in 2018-2020: Getting myself involved in setting up Iðnó: the oldest theatre in downtown Reykjavik. We created a new concept where it opened its doors to the public and serve the people in the city with the best Reykjavik can offer! From drag shows to gaming conferences to tango nights, weddings and concerts.In the past I worked mostly in the field of graphic design. My projects ranged from creative educational material for the Youth News of The Netherlands (Jeugdjournaal) to working on furniture details for Palau interior.

Within zootz I focus on the concept for new marketing strategies for our clients and their projects. This contains designing and guiding brainstorm sessions, filter the outcome into a concept and making a design that fits the specific goal of the project.I love to make research findings visible through images and to surprise our clients with a concept they wouldn't have thought of. These projects I manage from concept to implementation, working together with other designers, production and service focused towards the client.

Meer Kerst (“More Christmas”) is the company I started with a friend. In The Netherlands the tradition is the employer gives a Christmas Package to its employees before Christmas. This package is a gift with food and goods. Nowadays a lot of times these products are never used and the original idea of the package has somewhat flown away.With Meer Kerst we wanted to make a difference through adding a story and by doing so, adding value. As Christmas is about receiving as much as about giving, we wanted to persuade people to give the products away they didn’t like enough. We did everything from design to guiding production in Nepal to sales.

To finish my studies I did a project at the DOK, the Public Library of Delft, where I was asked to "bring the library home". In this project an extensive research led to a final design. The design made people give away books CDs and DVDs , for which in exchange they received selections from other participants in the project. The project was focused on surprise among the participants.

Designing graphic material for the Sports and Culture Centre of the TU Delft. This involved designing promotional material of events and courses for all students and employees of the TU Delft, setting up a general visual style within the corporate style of the University and more.The activities involved: posters, flyers, logos, stickers, etc.

During this internship I had a large variety of activities, among other things designing product details, design concepts, making models, making 3D computer models, photography, presentations etc.

As an intern I assisted in several projects and was responsible for visualisations and an exhibition.
