Lead Software Developer
CurrentAs the Lead Software Developer at iMMAP, I am responsible for managing a team of developers to build and maintain three critical company platforms, including iMMAP Careers (HR platform), Surge Database, and the iMMAP website.In my role, I work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that our platforms are meeting business needs and driving value. This includes organizing and leading agile meetings to keep the team aligned on priorities, planning and prioritizing our backlog of work, and releasing new features to support our users.To succeed in this role, I utilize my expertise in PHP, ReactJS, Laravel, and JavaScript to guide the team in developing high-quality, scalable software solutions. Additionally, I collaborate with our designers and product managers to ensure that our user interfaces are intuitive and user-friendly.As a manager, I am committed to fostering a collaborative and productive team culture. I provide regular feedback to team members, support their professional development, and ensure that everyone has the resources and support they need to succeed.Overall, my role as the Lead Software Developer at iMMAP is critical to ensuring that our platforms are delivering value to our users and supporting our mission to improve humanitarian response through data-driven decision-making.
