Research assistant for a project on reasons that people would or would not get a flu vaccination. My work involved coding qualitative textual statements using a codebook of reasons to structure the data for quantitative analysis.

Involved in the discussion of the fine-tuning of a research project to investigate people's perceptions of climate change using signal detection theory with Professor Stephen Broomell and Patrick Kane. I was responsible for the initial R-coding and the collection of overall weather and temperature data.

Coded qualitative data as quantitative values for two studies on opinions relating to the death penalty for a project conducted by SDS Fellow Stephanie Anglin.
