CALDIC LATAM is the largest independent distributor of chemical products in Latin America, has a portfolio of over 3,000 products and an extensive network of distribution and logistics infrastructure, with 50 facilities, 4 maritime terminals and 19 laboratories in 13 countries in Latin America, with offices in the United States and China.• LATAM Regional Financial Controlling, responsible for 32 legal entities in 14 countries. Direct report to the regional CFO and to the Corporate Controller in the Netherlands.Responsible for:• Monthly accounting closing, regional financial consolidation and reporting for the LATAM region.• Internal and External Audits (Corporate and Statutory) and Financial Statements (IFRS and local GAAP) for 12 components in Latin America.• Region adherence to the group's accounting policies in accordance with IFRS.• Preparation of forecasts and budgets based on monthly accounting and management closings and monthly results presentations with indicator demonstration for the executive committee.• Management of CAPEX (fixed assets) and OPEX (expenses).• SSC in Costa Rica with a scope of Accounting and Treasury for the operations of the countries in North Latin America (LAN).• Systems: SAP 4 Hana in Brazil and Microsoft AX, Accountfy and OneStream for financial consolidation.• Currently leading a team of eight direct collaborators, including two coordinators and six analysts, and indirectly the LATAM accounting teams.Achievements:• Significant reduction in monthly closing and reporting deadlines (currently reporting on the 3rd business day).• Implementation and maintenance of cost center plans and corporate chart of accounts.• Integration of two acquired companies in Latin America, including integration into the current ERP and PPA closing.• Implementation of Internal Control framework for Latin America.• Lead of financial digitalization project in data lake and power BI.
