Pharmaceutical leader with over 30 years of experience in industry and government in the U.S. and Canada with over 20 years of corporate executive team experience reporting directly to the country president. Currently responsible for leadership of Medical Affairs function for Sandoz in the U.S. with functional oversight and support responsibility for Canada. Member of the Sandoz North America Leadership Team since 2005. Previous pharmaceutical industry responsibilities include: • Leadership of public affairs (federal and state government affairs, and patient advocacy) for the US; • Leadership of Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Phase 1 bioequivalence clinical trials, Pharmacovigilance, and Intellectual Property litigation/patent evaluation and government affairs for Sandoz Canada Inc and Rhoxalpharma (i.e. Hexal Canada); • Leadership/membership in various committees within the Biosimilars Forum, Association for Accessible Medicines (AAM), Canadian Generics Pharmaceutical Association (CGPA), and Biosimilars Canada. Government experience includes leadership of pharmaceutical quality evaluation teams within the Therapeutic Products Directorate of Health Canada (Canada’s FDA), as well as various other management and drug evaluation responsibilities. Currently Sandoz’ Board member for the Biosimilars Forum.
