Provides key information on proper product use while adhering to the standards of care and current best practice in wound care Conducts in-service with physicians, and other clinicians that deals with a variety of wound conditions and provides hands on training for nurses and therapist to achieve goals of wound healing

Provides services to clients in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, Agencypolicy, and accepted professional standards of practice● Initiates actions to improve the quality of patient care. Takes appropriate actionsindependently and responsively in home care situations. Initiates referrals as needed toother health team members when delegated by the Case Manager● Skills in wound care including negative pressure devices, tracheostomy care, colostomyand IV infusion, care for PICC lines and discontinuation of lines.● Reports significant changes in client status to physician and other members of the teamin a timely manner consistent with client needs● Implement skilled interventions with a focus for achieving realistic client outcomeswithin a specified time period manages patient medication● Collaborate with physicians, other health care professionals (therapists, social services,pastoral care, supportive services), clients, and families in developing a comprehensive,coordinated plan for care.● Supervises applicable home care team members as delegated by RN Case Manager
