Retained to provide full scope project management for implementation of several modules of the Lumedx software portfolio for use by the Heart and Vascular Center medical staff. This included vast customizations to the GUI and Database (over 600 new data elements), as well as interfaces to disparate EHR / HIM production systems (IDX / RIS, Epic / EMR).Also managed 2 additional high visibility efforts:- Clinical diagnostic's outreach implementation. This platform provides the ability to UCD Health Systems to perform diagnostics for Pathology and other related tests and procedures, with full integration to Epic and external EMR systems if so desired. - Epic Radiant interface and data conversion transition from GE IDX RIS. Scope included 5 disparate system"s interfaces and conversion of over 3 million results and multiples years of discrete Mammo data records to be integrated into the Epic DB structure.Responsibilities included serving as the subject matter expert for all planning and execution activities, support model creation, requirements and design analysis, interface development, organizational change and communications management, project schedule management, risk management. In addition, mentoring and training of UCD staff in the areas of testing, business analysis and preparation for assuming M & O of the new platforms.

This included RFP through Contract drafting and sign off (initiation), product customizations, configuration, UAT, training, and end to end deployment to over 600 internal and external Mental Health service providers / users system wide, across Sacramento County.• Crafted and implemented strategically aligned, end-to-end Information Technology Services project workflow process and supporting procedures. Including establishment of Steering Committee comprised of all 6 department heads within Health and Human Services. Resulted in reduction of wasted efforts / dollars expended on un-chartered, unfunded initiatives by the ITS organization. Process remains in place today.• Full scope PM of a 1000 PC system replacement for Child Protective Services with minimal interruption of daily work activities. Responsible for all aspects of this project including securing over $1mil in funding, contract negotiations, scheduling, communications, deployment, “trickle down” of higher end PC’s and project close out.• Managed all aspects of the upgrade of 3200 HHS workstations to Office 2003 Professional with minimal interruption to staff. • Managed all aspects of project to re-build In Home Supportive Services (IHSS) payroll timesheet, automated data entry platform from VB to .NET (aka. DocIS II) for the Senior and Adult Services division. This included creation of the DHHS ITS QA processes, procedures and associated templates for re-use with all other development projects. • Generation and administration of the DHHS Strategic Plan and associated master schedule, which included over 40 initiatives with supporting detailed tasks and implementation strategies.
