I retired as a Consultant for Delta General Agency Corporation in Houston. Before that, I retired as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Delta on 12/31/15. I also served as its Secretary and as a member of the Board of Directors. As such, I was responsible for the financial operations of the company as well as overseeing Human Resources and office management.I'm a former member of the Texas Surplus Lines Association and received their Jack Claitor Memorial Scholarship as well as their Don King Committee Member of the year award and their President's Award. I was also President of the organization and served on the Board of Directors for 7 years. I currently chair the Audit Committee.In 2009 I was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas for a 3 year term and in 2011 became the Board Chairman which is a 1 year term.FEMA appointed me to their WYO Standards Committee, where I served for 4 years.I came to Delta from BDO USA, LLP. (formerly Seidman & Seidman) the international accounting and consulting firm where I was an audit partner. During my tenure in the Chicago and Houston offices, I served at various times as the Regional Director of Accounting and Auditing and National Director of Industry Specialization. I was the managing partner of the Houston office for five years and served on the firm's Board of Directors.
