I have had the opportunity to be involved in depth with the engineering, manufacturing, planning, re-build, maintenance, and assembly of large mining equipment around the world for the past 21 years. During this time I was able to meet and work with many excellent people within the mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing world and still network with these people today to provide my customers with the expertise needed to best service their needs.

Technical RepresentativeCaterpillar Inc. Jan 2012 - Aug 2013Edmonton, Canada AreaI worked with Bucyrus for 16 years until the company was purchased by Caterpillar in 2012 at which time I was offered a position with Caterpillar. I worked from an office in Edmonton Alberta and supported the local dealers and customers with the Bucyrus legacy products such as electric drills, rope shovels, and draglines. I decided in August of 2013 to venture out on my own leaving an excellent position with Cat. -
Field Service Representative / ManagerBucyrus International Jan 1996 - Jan 2012Edmonton, Canada AreaDuring my 16 years with Bucyrus I worked mostly in the Field Services division but spent 2 years managing the Edmonton Shop. I started in the field with Bucyrus assembling and rebuilding shovels, drills, and draglines as a technician, technical representative and project manager.I was given the opportunity to work around the world with Bucyrus including 2 years working in China building the first and only AC Gearless drive 8750 Dragline and also assembled and retrofit (2) used 395 rope shovels with an AC, IGBT drive system. Also spent time in Australia, South Africa and United States.Over this time period I was involved with many field projects locally as well, including several multi-million dollar projects which I helped quote, plan and manage. This included a (2) year project to assemble a new 8750 AC drive machine close to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.I gained a vast amount of experience working with Bucyrus not only the technical knowledge of the machine repairs, manufacturing, and assembly, but also in the project management side of things. I was very lucky to have spent this time with this company and greatly appreciate all the opportunities I was given.
