I ran a Teaching Company Scheme in partnership with Philips covering the fields of simulation, automation and robotic TV manufacturing. I taught IT and statistics while performing research in multivariable optimisation.

I performed research in stroke rehabilitation, artifical limb design and fundamental studies of human standing balance and gait analysis. I was responsible for writing data acquisition software and experimental design and statistical analysis. I taught experimental design and statistics and systems enginering for the London Univesity MSc in ergonomics. I also wrote software for clinical diagnostic tools, one of which looks crudely but, in principle, a 1983 forerunner of the Wii-Fit! I was a referee for the Ergonomics Journal specialising in Disability ErgonomicsI also undertook technical consultancy projects for UNESCO and the MOD
