About Len Mccandless

Well I have had first hand experience with trauma, this has led me to my studies in the community services sector and then AOD alcohol and other drugs diploma. With experience in finding accommodation for families and singles, resources for those affected by just about anything and a passion for helping others. I started working with Rosies helping the homeless and found this to be very gratifying work. Then I jumped on to do vocational placement with QuIHN a harm reduction service for those affected by substance abuse. I have been working in the NSP needle syringe program and have enjoyed meeting new people breaking the barriers. Since working volunteer at the NSP I have been searching for paid employment doing what it is that I love. I have near completed my diploma and will be graduating about July 2019. I am a single parent and my daughter shares the same passion as me with helping those in need.
