I am an established Painting and decorating lecturer with over 19 years teaching experience teaching 16-18 year old Apprentices within the Corps of Royal Engineers and adult tradesmen at the Royal School of Military Engineering. Also with experience in teaching at Cardiff and Vale College, Norton Radstock College, Wiltshire College, Gloucester College, Swindon College and currently lecturing and assessing at City of Bristol College in the painting and decorating departments.I also have 8 year painting and decorating experience working in an Engineer Based Workshop as a painter and decorator and Sign maker as well as 2 years working in Northern Ireland as a member of a Engineer construction team as a painter and decorator.During my time at the Royal School of Military Engineering I worked with local colleges, City and Guilds and NVQ to design a new trade of Painter and Finisher which included setting up a syllabus, planning hours, a question bank for both City and Guilds Craft and Advanced levels as well as NVQ equivalent for dry lining, plaster repairs, ceramic tiling and sheet flooring. I have recently completed my Award in Education Training and CAVA qualifications.
