As someone who’s served in the food industry since college, I bring a depth of knowledge, insight, and experience to my role as Director of Sales at J.J. McDonnell. I started with a specialty food distributor, driving trucks, pulling orders, working in the day and attending school at night. Taking on a sales role, I later advanced to District Manager, Regional Manager, VP of Sales and Interim President while the position was being filled. I was instrumental in helping to lead and execute several mergers and acquisitions. I then led the sales team for a specialty produce company for six years. I’m known for transparent communication, integrity, coaching and mentoring.I’m passionate about professionalism, training, and development as well as continuous improvement, bringing Dale Carnegie training to my J.J. McDonnell team to elevate our communication and performance. J.J. Career highlights include starting with a specialty company doing $8M gross sales, and helping to build it into $173M (U.S. Food Service) growth.
