Len Williams, CFO and EVP of Laser Projection Technologies Inc. (now FARO Technologies, Inc.) has more than twenty years of experience in Finance and Accounting. His recent accomplishments include the Merger and Acquisition transactions of LPT, Inc. and TL&G, LLC. He is a strategic and tactical planning professional in the manufacturing, software, service and consulting industries, with a distinguished level of expertise in the high-tech industry.Before joining LPT, Len was a Financial Management Consultant at SL Power Electronics, an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of rugged, highly reliable power supplies for OEM applications. Prior to his time at SL Power, Len also consulted for a range of large corporate clients such as Unisys, Publishing Partners International, Inc., Resonetics Micromachining Technology, and Nixon and Peabody. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Len developed company policy and procedure manuals, financial system policies and procedures and implemented budget planning tools. All said works aided in the measurement and achievement of performance targets across the U.S., UK, Europe, China and Mexico. He played a vital role in restructuring each entity, reducing supplier costs, developing and generating accurate reports for ERP systems and achieving statutory compliance.A brief overview of previous positions held include: Vice President of Finance and Technology for Encore Etc. Inc., a Musical Instrument Sterilization Company, Vice President of Finance and Administration for DALiM, the software company which set cutting edge media production standards worldwide, Market Vice President of Finance for Kraft Foodservice (Kraft Foods) and Director of Finance for Pacific Scientific (a Danaher Company). During his time in these positions, Len earned himself a strong reputation in strategic planning, post-acquisition integration, turnaround management and financial systems implementation.
