I believe in narratives as a tool for impact, whether it’s about personal growth, uniting a team or finding a direction for a company. I run my own company Oddly where I take on various projects relating to building, maintaining and changing narratives for individuals, leaders and companies.My career started with asking questions as a journalist, and now I'm back in the habit as a coach. Originally trained as an economist, I went into journalism because I was so curious about how the world really works. Now, 25 years later, I'm still curious about how the world really works but now, equipped with experience from working with different companies as a leader and consultant and with people from very different backgrounds (I built a team from scratch recruiting internationally), I'm even more curious about how people really work. What drives us, what comes in the way for our dreams, why do we resist change and what are we really afraid of? As a journalist I asked questions to write a story. Today I ask questions for my clients to find theirs. Because whatever endeavours we plan to undertake, we won't do it unless we buy the story. I founded Oddly to help my clients define the narrative that will take them towards their goals.
