I handle all purchase and sales figures from our numerous retail channels, ie the coffee roasting wholesale retail business, our cafe and weekend market stall, all webshop sales, and as of last year, our thriving bar and kitchen! I have also created numerous cash up templates, tailored to the newer departments.I carryout the credit control on our wholesale business to maintain steady cash-flow, and ensure all book keeping is correctly maintained for each side of the business. I sustain high levels of communication with our wholesale dispatch team to aid in keeping customers within their credit terms. I am a point of contact for any logistical problem solving from the wholesale dispatch side, should they require my help. Recently this has been taken over by a new recruit!I plan and process all supplier payments, often liasing with their own accounts departments to assist with both their and my general queries. I am responsible for reconciling all incoming and outgoing payments in the account, as well as producing all figures for the sales made, and actively working to produce and submit quarterly VAT returns in a timely manner. I process the company payroll fortnightly for 40-50 employees, as well as quarterly dividend payments. I organize assistance in my department - for administrative tasks and also with outside contractors to help facilitate the completion of more complex tax related tasks. These staff report to myself, as I organize their workload to guarantee all bases are covered when it comes to closing off our accounts.
