Lena Aldergren is a founder and partner at JPA Investment which is a privately held real estate investment company. She also serves as a professional chairman of various boards in external companies in a variety of industries.Lena has been active in professional services for more than 25 years and was, as a 28-year-old, listed on Veckans Affärer's list of Sweden's most powerful women. She has served as a management consultant, global business area manager and held leadership positions within companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Icon Medialab, Destinct Consulting. She lead the diplomatic foreign office within Business Sweden (Swedish Trade Council) Delhi, India and served as the deputy Trade Commissioner to India at the Embassy of Sweden. In this role she was responsible for helping Swedish companies to establish and grow on the Indian market as well as on South Asian markets such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The mission also included diplomatic activities to strengthen the relationship between Sweden and India, leading several business delegations to India with representatives from the Swedish government, cabinet ministers, royalties and high profiled business executives as well as small to medium sized companies entering the Indian market.In 2010, after 15 years living in Stockholm and Asia, she moved back to Göteborg, Sweden and founded the real estate investment group JPA. She also became the Chairman of the Board of NetRelations with the task of leading the company's growth journey, from a Swedish IT company to a fast growing international IT group with operations in the Nordics, Europe and the USA which was awarded “Gasell company” seven years in a row under her chair-period. Lena has since held board assignments in several industries including listed companies. Today she is the Chairman of the Board of OLKA Sportresor, Bengt Martins and Cruise Market and a board member of the property group JPA. Lena is also co-founder and board member of the non-profit organization Safesport Sweden. Lena’s expertise is primarily found in the fields of global business operations, corporate and market strategies, internationalization, business development and implementation, international trade and foreign affairs. Lena has vast experience from leadership and management in multicultural teams, leading complex change processes within a broad range of industries.Lena is a former elite athlete and holds two Swedish Champion titles in gymnastics. She represented Sweden in the World Championships in Sarajevo 1989.
