Concurrent to the Health Navigator role, I was first appointed as interim project manager for Alameda Alliance's "Health Homes Program" to oversee its transition from a pilot program to an official new health plan benefit. I tracked and communicated deliverables and deadlines to responsible parties (across Alameda County's Health Care Services partners) to ensure timely submissions to meet state regulation requirements.Post launch of the new benefit, I remained an active member of the HHP team during its early stages of development. I contributed and implemented new ideas to improve its operations, oversaw the monthly meetings with the partnered agencies, maintained resources on the shared portal, and acted as ongoing point of contact for program events.A notable accomplishment was during the COVID-19 Shelter in Place (2020). I was asked to be a guest speaker at a monthly collaborative. I presented an original testimonial material on "Resources for Working from Home with Kids" to create awareness and share learnings for parents who faced unique challenges during the lockdown.
