• Works with the Manager of Settlement Services and youth settlement program staff in developing strategies to best support the operation of youth settlement program
• Achieves service targets and outcomes as defined by the funders and the agency

Outreach to youth and at-risk youth from different cultural backgrounds. Generate public meetings, community forums and small-group discussions that provide opportunities for youth to identify shared concerns and articulate their needs. Provide information and referral to youth serving agencies for at-risk youth experiencing issues with housing.

Oversee Kindergym program for children ages 0-6. Plan special event days depending on the season (e.g. Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day, etc.) Collect statistics of the parent/caregivers and their children through surveys that are produced by Health Canada. Supervise Kindergym Childcare Workers and volunteers.

Must coordinate all of the Summer Camps at University Settlement (Day, Academic, Sports and Music and Arts.) Responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of all Summer Camp staff and volunteers. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the camp. Budget management for all of the Summer Camps. Occasionally help register children for the Summer.
