I am a member of the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association (APPA), the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research (ISNPR) and the American Nurses Association (ANA). Currently working at SMA’s St Augustine Outpatient clinic, community mental health. Prior to this I worked for SMA’s Daytona Beach FACT Team, and in the Emergency Room at Advent Health.I hold a 1:1 BSc (hons) in Nursing, ACLS, PALS & BLS, with experience in various medical and emergency settings; including ED and Trauma centres in England, Germany, Kenya, Afghanistan and the USA. I also have significant experience in treating patients with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) such as schizophrenia disorders and bipolar. I would like to use my nursing qualifications for the benefit of humanity, and make a significant contribution to the delivery of holistic, contemporary mental and physical healthcare. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher which compliments my role as a PMHNP. I am keen on educating patients on the mental and physical health benefits of practices such as plant-based nutrition, breathwork, yoga, mindful living, cold & light exposure, exercise and other lifestyle factors in relation to wellbeing. My advice and treatment plans are always tailored to the individual and are holistic in nature; Western medications are one of many aspects addressed when I consider patients’ needs. My interest is in natural and preventative healthcare methods, including the legalisation of psychedelic medicines for psychedelic assisted therapy, and promoting a plant-based lifestyle centred around health, balance & ethics. I am have studied Nutritional Psychiatry through Dr Drew Ramsey MD. Further to increase my capacity to provide holistic mental healthcare, I have studied Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. Ultimately, my ambition is to continue my career encouraging holistic environment, utilising a fusion of psychiatry, yoga, plant-based diet, psychedelics and other non-pharmaceutical therapies in order to assist people to achieve health, balance and happiness. I value the importance of patients being enabled to explore their feelings and needs in a safe, regulated and supportive environment.
