Oaxaca, Mexico

Visited Zapotec women small business-owners in their homes and communities in Oaxaca State, speaking with them about their jobs and lives (in Spanish) and photographing them and their products, for use in a new online business directory. Helped coordinate these meetings, using persistent and patient communication to arrange meeting places and times with the women. Took photographs of workshops and training events in communities in Oaxaca, and edited and prepared them for use on the Foundation's website and for publicity materials. Participated in brainstorming conversations with Foundation employees on fundraising, social media, and more.
