As the Assistant State Secretary, I was the Assistant State Campaign Director of the WA Labor Party. Broadly, this means responsibility for planning and executing a multi-faceted research program and using findings to guide message development, constructing state-wide campaign strategies, implementing processes for effective collaboration internally and externally, providing training and development, and executing campaign plans. I was also responsible to the administration of WA Labor. This includes reporting to WA Labor’s peak decision-making bodies, hiring and managing staff, managing finances and property, budgeting and fundraising and business engagement.
