Additionally, the team develop and execute the portfolio management process for innovation and new product development projects across all segments in Hempel and across all types of coatings and technologies. The team is part of Hempel’s global Sustainability team and drive Hempel’s product range/assortment development towards a sustainable offering

As Group Assortment (Product Range) Manager I developed Product Range and Life Cycle Management in Hempel. Over 4 years we halfed the number of active SKUs sold in collaboration with the global organisation. Additionally, we implemented and further developed a Product Information Management (PIM) System, populated with product data and positioned all Hempel products on the market.

Responsible for the Development and Optimization of Novozymes Liquid Enzyme Products. Leader of 22 experienced Biotech lab technicians, chemists and specialists. Responsible for the laboratory and work safety as well as budgetting and resource allocation to projects. Responsible for department strategy, plan and execution as well as department seminars. Additionally part of the Household Care and Biofuel portfolio boards, gating new product development projects globally in Novozymes and across all types of Biotech technologies.

Responsible for the Novozymes household care product range including optimization of revenue, profit and complexity reduction. Leader of cross-functional product group. Responsible for product strategy development and part of household care strategic portfolio board developing industry strategy and gating new product development projects, globally.

I acted as Executive Assistant to the Vice President for New Business Development as well as Change Agent for the area. The area was a newly established Radical Innovation area that was to operate in a green field approach with Radical Innovation for Novozymes. The area included both Acquisitions, In-sourcing and own product development. I established a simple Quality Management system supporting the new and radical way of working and implemented a radical new product development set-up based on a learning based approach.

As part of Novozymes eBusiness project I led the global implementation team. We implemented online ordering for all industries and geographies. Thereafter, I established the eBusiness Operations department with 10-12 employees). While leading the department, I took on leadership of a 2 year CRM upgrade project. Thereafter, I was the project manager of Novozymes Global Intraweb project.

As Executive Assistant and member of the Leadership team I organized and reported Leadership team meetings, organized events and seminars for the area, prepared presentations and executed on a number of ad hoc tasks

As a marketing / launch manager, I launched Phytase Novo, the first Novozymes phytase product on the market. As a product specialist I promoted the product at conferences and with customers globally. As marketing manager, I was responsible for pricing and for the operational part of an alliance with Roche, acting strategic account manager also.

As a graduate I worked 1 1/2 year within B. thuringiensis formulation development and test in Bagsværd and Davis California. Thereafter, I was the responsible chemist for the Kalundborg sludge treatment plant in 1 year. Finally, I worked 1 year in marketing developing an environmental marketing concept and data package (LCA-Life Cycle Analysis) with focus on the textile, leather and paper industries. This was early days for Sustainability data for products, supplier questionnaires, Sustainability audit etc.
