After completing my Master studies in fine arts, I decided to pursue my career as a freelance artist exploring all the possibilities this field has to offer. As a young artist, I find it important that I stay active not only in terms or my own art, but also to actively participate in the art community. Art is a lovely, but very challenging field. Like with most young artists, supporting myself financially while staying creative has proven to be quite a challenge. However, while there is still much to be done in this aspect, artists supporting each other by sharing the knowledge, connections, and information, turns out to be one of the most effective ways of tackling this challenge. I believe that we as a community can do more. This is why I have decided to join Exhibitart. Exhibitart is a young start-up that aims to build a global creative community connecting people and organisations, bringing them closer together to create new opportunities, encourage collaborations and share knowledge. Besides my artistic practice I have worked on many interesting projects such as teaching children about contemporary art and animated film, creating props and scenography for the film industry, creating music videos and videos for theatre and dance performances, curating a pop-up students gallery, and organising exhibitions which took place in an old phone booth.
