Strategic purchasing responsibility towards new and existing suppliers to GOMspace, including supply chain management and pricing negotiations.Support to R&D/engineering on projects and project purchasing decisions.

Was initially employed as purchaser for EMS spend plus mechanical parts at Thrane & Thrane A/S. The Cobham group bought Thrane & Thrane back in 2012, after which the company name was changed to COBHAM Satcom.In 2009, I was appointed Team Lead for operational purchasing at the plant in Northern Denmark, having the daily responsibility for 4 colleagues and the coordination related thereto.Purchasing responsibility for mechanical parts, including very complex supply chains/channels, with many different steps and sub-assemblies ending up in a finished product for use in the COBHAM Satcom plant.Very close cooperation with the Quality Assurance team was an integrated part of the tasks due to highly complex assemblies and materials being used.

Responsible for annual negotiations with suppliers, quality follow-up, delivery performance measurements and implementation of new suppliers to GPV.Purchasing responsibilities encompassed all component groups used at GPV, and was also involved in customer contacts on new projects, including meetings with both suppliers and GPV customers.
