Levente Nemeth works at Nokia since his graduation. In the past 13 years he had been in various roles: started his career as a software developer then moved to different verification engineer positions dealing with several telecommunications products. Later his professional focus was shifted to test automation and spent over 4 years on test automation related positions where he collected extensive knowledge of this subject. The focus areas were mobile terminal steering and Robot Framework library development.In 2014 he took one step ahead in his career when he was promoted to an R&D leader of a test automation tool development team. He consciously preserved involvement in the technical parts of verification alongside management duties in order to keep himself up to date. He presented ‘Keyword driven testing in theory and practice’ at HUSTEF 2015. He was also participating in many other conferences and meetups and still tries to be an active member of Hungary’s tester community.In the recent years he has been actively working with IoT related projects both at work and in his free time. He slowly turned to a DIY home automation & smart home enthusiastic by automating most of his own house. He was delivering a presentation called Hack my House! on HUSTEF 2018 conference about home automation security concerns. Since then he formed a home automation club and actively participating in related events (such as meetups). On those rare occasions when he is neither chained to the computer nor on father’s duty he spends time with DIY hobbies (woodwork and furniture making), gardening or engages in running, hiking and biking.
