A partnership between the Digital Data Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard, Nova SBE, and NOVA Medical School.

Reshape is a non-profit organisation working to humanise the prison's system and reduce recidivism rates. It is based on a Brazilian methodology with the same name, that has already proven a 10% recidivism rate, as well as 1/3 of the cost per inmate (against the traditional system).Worked as an Adviser to the Board of Directors on setting up organisation’s strategy, focusing on fundraising, new ventures and stakeholders’ communication.

Organised and coordinated the Data Science for Social Good Summer Fellowships developed at Imperial College London and the University of Warwick, in partnership with The Alan Turing Institute.

Managed two projects in the areas of Health and Employment at the Data Science for Social Good Summer Fellowship, founded by Rayid Ghani at the University of Chicago.

Selected projects include:- Nova School of Business and Economics: worked directly with the Dean on a long-term strategy for the school, identifying the key drivers of change and its business implications- Nova School of Business and Economics + Ministry of Justice: assessed the current prisons’ landscape to understand the existing situation and developed the information system for government's advocacy on a 10 years' vision for the prison system- Nova School of Business and Economics + law firm: developed a feasibility analysis to advise on the entrance of a new player in the Angolan’s microfinance market - Corporate Foundation: developed a 5 years’ Strategy and was able to increase revenues by 100% within 1 year- Start-up: worked directly with Founder and Managing Director in defining the main aspects of this new venture, including mission and positioning, products' layout, external communications and prospects’ approach

- Designed methodologies, trainings and consulting projects to leverage the power of the corporate sector to solve social and environmental problems and to grow the number of stakeholder-driven companies- Created and led the B Corp Movement in Portugal and Portuguese speaking countries in Africa (including certification process, standards, community management, fundraising, among others), travelling around Africa, Europe and the USA

- Assisted in the establishment and development of social businesses, namely by providing business plan advisory- Analysed and evaluated social business investment projects and ideas- Promoted social business ideas and incubator funds for investment in Albania (e.g. conferences, lectures and other events)

Grameen Basic Training Program, during 5 weeks. Main activities/ course contents: - Intensive training about Grameen Bank's products and methodologies: organizational structure, loan approval processes, interest calculation, overdue loans, field duties, planning and monitoring activities, staff management, information system, among others - Onsite village training of 1 week, in Branch Office, visiting Centre meetings and interviewing GB’ members. Also visited Zonal and Area Offices - Visit several Grameen sister companies to view active social businesses in the field; several meetings and interviews with the heads of these firms (Grameen Shakti, Grameen Distribution, Grameen Knitwear, Grameen Veolia Water, Grameen Slum School, Yunus Centre…)

Managed all the initiatives under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed between the Portuguese Government and the Troika (IMF/ EC/ ECB), which were in the scope of the several competencies of this Ministry (Energy, Transports, Telecom, Labour, Competition, among others). Core activities:- Monitored measures’ execution and deadlines, ensuring coordination between all parties involved- Identified and managed risks associated to the development and implementation of MoU's measures- Prepared quarterly compliance reviews with Troika and managed internal and external communication

- Worked on TMT's industries and managed operationally different teams across Portugal, Spain, Angola and Mexico- Relevant experience focused on Strategy & Operations and Enterprise Applications (SAP implementation projects)
