Job description of an reporter/editor of news department:- editing the news written by correspondents- writing news based on reports from correspondent- select the most important and interesting material to present for content of a news editions- assigning stories to reporters, sending teams of reporters, camera operators and other support staff on location to film- to interview representatives of government, business etc.- editing film and soundtrack of video construction by trimming segments of film and sound to allotted amount of time- constructing video and soundtrack from many different shots according to a script by a reporter-researching background about daily social topics- finding experts with controversial and opposite opinions (representatives of government, business, culture)- writing a presentation and introduction on each expert participant- working in live broadcast providing TV prompter (autocue), television credits (titles)- editing film and soundtrack according to allotted time
