My work at iRobot has been to both modernize and unify the robot controller developing the uPoint Multi-Robot Controller. The single, multi-robot controller is an Android tablet application capable of discovering, controlling, and observing all of iRobot's family of robots on a given robot network. Driving the robot is made simple by dragging your finger on the screen while watching the video feed sent from the robot. Specialized features such as hazmat integration support showing and alarming sensor data reported by a CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) equipped robot.
